What has been a turning point in your life? For years, I struggled with debilitating heavy menstrual cycles. Tampons weren’t enough; even the heaviest pads would require changing every two hours. I constantly worried about bleeding through onto chairs, which made daily life uncomfortable and stressful.

This went on for years, but it wasn’t until I moved to Mexico and experienced alarmingly low blood levels that I realized how severe the issue was. A $20 ultrasound revealed an alarming number of Uterine fibroids. Fibroids are benign tumors that develop in or on the uterus. They are non-cancerous but can lead to heavy menstrual bleeding, pain, or pressure in the pelvis. 

Doctors urged me to undergo a blood transfusion, but I declined and opted for an iron transfusion instead. It helped for about a year, but my symptoms returned. I was told my only real options were a hysterectomy or birth control, neither of which felt right for me. I felt stuck in a cycle of ineffective treatments and frustrating conversations with doctors who didn’t offer alternatives.

Then, I stumbled upon a YouTube ad for Uterine Artery Embolization (UAE), a minimally invasive procedure that finally offered a solution. After undergoing the UAE procedure, my symptoms improved dramatically, and I feel like I’ve been given a second chance at life. I even expressed to my doctor my desire to become a spokesperson for this life-changing treatment to help other women who, like me, have felt lost and underserved by traditional options.

Through my journey, I also learned the importance of managing stress, I’ve found this to be an especially difficult challenge. Research has increasingly suggested that stress may play a significant role in the development and growth of fibroids.

During my journey to manage my stress levels, I began researching alternative methods to bring balance and peace into my life. This led me to explore the healing properties of crystals, which became a powerful tool for grounding and mindfulness. What started as a personal journey to reduce stress and regain control evolved into a deeper passion for sharing these tools with others.
